MUDEK

The purpose of MUDEK accreditation contributes to evaluate and to improve the quality of engineering education in Turkey. In this way, the community's welfare is increased by better-trained engineers with current and emerging technologies.

MÜDEK has been authorized by ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) to issue EUR-ACE Label with the decision of ENAEE Administrative Council dated 21 January 2009. Thus, students who graduate from departments that receive MÜDEK accreditation will have the European engineering education label. Our undergraduate program, which was accredited by the Engineering Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MÜDEK) in 2012, is being updated and developed day by day to meet the requirements of the age.

Industrial Engineering Program Outcomes (PO)

PO1

 Knowledge in subjects related to mathematics, science and industrial engineering; ability to apply theoretical and applied knowledge in these areas to model and solve engineering problems.

PO2

Ability to identify, define, formulate, and solve complex problems related to Industrial Engineering; ability to select and apply appropriate analysis and modeling methods for this purpose.

PO3

Ability to design a complex system, process, device or product under realistic constraints and conditions to meet specific requirements; ability to apply modern design methods for this purpose.

PO4

Ability to develop, select and use modern techniques and tools required for industrial engineering applications; ability to use information technologies effectively.

PO5

Ability to design and conduct experiments, collect data, analyze and interpret results for investigating engineering problems.

PO6

Ability to work effectively in intra-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary teams; ability to work individually.

PO7

Ability to communicate oral or written effectively in Turkish and / or English.

PO8

Awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning; the ability to access information, to follow developments in science and technology, and to constantly renew her/himself.

PO9

Awareness of professional and ethical responsibility.

PO10

Knowledge about business life practices such as project management, risk management; awareness of entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainable development.

PO11

Knowledge about the universal and social effects of Industrial Engineering applications on health, environment and safety and contemporary problems; awareness of the legal consequences of industrial engineering solutions.

PO12

Ability to cooperate with the business world in research and application areas.

PO13

Ability to use enterprise resource planning software and / or apply quantitative methods in financial management.
